Equal opportunities

Gender equality. Career support. Anti-discrimination & inclusion.

Gender equality

Gender equality aims to ensure that all women, men, and non-binary people have equal access to rights, opportunities, resources, and responsibilities within our research community. We are committed to promoting and applying the principles of gender equality by fostering a just and inclusive work and learning environment in which all benefit equally from programmes, activities, and policies offered within our research projects.

Career support

It is our goal to actively foster an academic and professional environment which allows emerging scholars to grow, develop their careers, and achieve their full potential through the provision of guidance, advice, and professional development opportunities. We encourage and enable emerging scholars to participate in conferences and networks and leverage opportunities in areas such as funding, grant applications, and publications.

Anti-discrimination
and inclusion

With our equity policy, we commit to actively support a non-discriminatory, accessible, inclusive, and equitable culture in which all members of our research community and our partners feel welcomed, valued, and are treated with respect. Diversity and a culture of inclusion that is free from discrimination are shared values of our research community, and we recognise that our diversity represents an enormous opportunity. Every member of our research community has a right to equal treatment with respect to employment, access to promotion, professional development, and services without discrimination based on the following grounds: race, ethnic origin, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, religion, worldview, age, family status, disability.
